I've been pouring over wiring diagrams for about the last hour and I can't seem to find any way round my problem. I've almost got my project finished, and the temp and oil pressure gauges don't respond. First off, I replaced my temp sensor, thermostat, pigtail on the sensor, and my instrument panel. When I replaced the instrument panel all that did was turn off my low coolant light. So, I'm looking for maybe an easy fix for these, maybe someone has had this problem and fixed them quick and easy.

I'm down to these problems and the car will be ready to roll

Transmission (have the parts, just haven't installed them)

Here is how the oil pressure sender is supposed to be wired. It's the one with the blue wire.

Are you sure you replaced the temperature sensor? Its the sensor near the bottom with a single wire running to it, I believe its the yellow wire.

Assuming you are referring to the factory gauges.

the one I replaced had 3 prongs on the plug and had 2 wires running from it, a yellow and green and a black wire.

stock gauges by the way

There are 2 sensors on the lower portion of the thermostat housing. The actual coolant temperature sensor is on the left and has 2 wires, green/black and yellow/green. The sensor for the gauge on the dash however only has 1 wire, yellow/green.

The sensor at the top of the housing, which a lot of people confuse for the temp sensor, is the A/C thermoswitch. Its only job is to turn off the A/C if the engine starts to overheat. It has 2 wires, a green/yellow and a black/green.

I hope this helps!
