Oil leak from rear of engine bay

I took my car out for the first time after rebuild, and after a short(but somewhat hard) drive, i took it back home to see there is a good amount of oil in the back of the engine bay. I cant for the life of me find where it is coming from. First thing i checked was the oil pan which was all good. I checked around the bottom of the bell housing, nothing there either. The crank side is dry. But everything behind the engine is saturated in oil. I know its engine oil as its purple(royal purp), my tcase and tranny were filled with redline(red).

The transfer case, axles, power steering lines all had a good amount of oil. The back(intake) side of the engine is dry. Im completely dumbfounded as to what this could be.

I hit 100% WOT once, and my oil pressure was never over 80psi.

Check for the bolt that goes into the back of the block. Its used to check if the balance shaft is timed. If the bolt was removed when you did your rebuild, I would bet you forgot to put it back in.

+1 check to see if the balance shaft access bolt is in the block. if it isnt itll spray oil like a water hose under pressure.

When I wrote that, it didn't say resolve. But glad to hear it was the easy solution

Funny mine was 3 minutes before yours and it said resolved way before i posted.

Unless you just had your window on it for too long before posting.
