As stated i just finished rebuilding my motor with a new to me block... now when it turns on there is a oil leak from BEHIND the balance/r sprocket... my mechanic said he tried replacing the seal to no avail... He started saying that it could be the bushing on the other side... Curious if this theory holds weight. Read on another thread to use high temp sealant, but the picture provided was on the bolt itself... and im pretty sure its leaking from behind the sprocket... and ideas?
