Ok, heres the deal. I have a 96 GS, all stock but an intake with 146,000 mi. I havent checked my compression yet if that would matter. Theres an oil leak that appears to be coming out near the oil filter, possibly towards the gasket of the oil pan. This only happens when I try to autocross my car, and it only lasts as long as i'm on the track, and it's only maby a half cup to a cup (measuring cup) that comes out ... once I drive home i can smell burning oil (which I found comes from the oil finding it's way to my exhaust pipe) untill it all burns off (1/2 hour maby?).
I've given my car 2 oil changes since then and I've inspected the filter gasket area to be sure it's not just leaking out of a poorly screwed in oil filter, but it's all up to specs. It's very hard to pin point the area from which the oil leaks, because by the time i can get under the car, or pop the hood and get a flash light, it's already stopped leaking... and has spread itself to a larger area due to it sloshing through all the turns.
Oh, and by the way, I can drag race all day long and not a drop of oil will come out.
I was wondering if maby it might be a worn/ rusted out oil pan gasket?
If anyone has any ideas or any similar problems please let me know.

sorry if this was a little lengthy, i was just trying to be concise

sounds like you beat on your ride a little too much...anyway
Try getting some oil die and put it in your system to see where the leak is comming from
(you will need a blacklight) and it will tell you where it is comming from after about 2 days. PM me since you are from milwaukee as well as I am. good luck i need respect points too bro!!
