so i know you all are gonna say "dont you hit the search button?". i did, this is a little different and i need some face up help. all of my oil has been drained outa my engine and sucked into the coolant, i know this because the overflow is nothing but oil, no coolant left, and engine is dry of oil. my mechanic did a headgasket test and said it past. so if its not head gasket, then what could my problem be? oil cooler? oil pan? i know dont really where oil and coolant could possibly mix like that. on the upper side, there is not coolant getting into the oil, just oil taking over coolant. please help me before i spend another boatload of money trying to just figure this out.

The only options beyond the cooler, head gasket, or head itself, would be a crack or flat out hole in a water jacket that is near an oil passage. This is not likely, but it is another thought. However you said you've already had a test done for the head gasket? Hope it's not to bad.

it could still be in the headgasket, sound like you have a high pressure oil leak in to the low pressure coolant

Has the HG been replaced? if so why? and was the head surfaced? What HG was used
If you look at the first pic in this thread..
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/341028-4g63t-head-oil-port-mod.html

this is where oil tranfres from the block to the head, so if the oil blows thu the seal here it can wourk its way into the water port , but the Combustion Chamber would still be sealed.

if it is not here, then there is a crack in the oil gally casting of the head or block allowing the oil in the cooling system

Good point Bogus. I wasn't even thinking of the fact that it could have been replaced before this issue. What Bogus is saying (I think), is that if the gasket were damaged between the oil galley and water jacket transfer points from block to head, the oil could easily be pushing into the water jackets. This type of bad gasket would not be caught by compression tests.

ok well i just bought the car not too long ago. and i bought it from a good for nothing a****** whose pretty much hosed me over on everytihng hes said about the car. the only real info he could give me that it has a 16g on a 6bolt engine. so i do not know whether or not the HG has been replaced. if it is the HG and the test just isnt showing it, how much does it usually cost for a mechanic(labor cost and gasket) to replace, and what type of gasket is best for this car? and i dont knwo what standard oil pressue is for dsm's but my gauge is reading 60-90 depending on acceleration, i thought this seemed high but you guys tell me.

mods are:
16g
650cc inje
afpr
255 walboro
3" to the back
fmic

thanks so much guys

there is no test really to check for the headgast to blow in the way I have stated, the head would have to be pulled and inspected along with the head.

you may be able to see an oil leak on the outside of the head at the head gasket line if it is bad enough.

depending on the shop, and parts needed, and what machine work will be needed..... I would guess at $600 and up parts and labor but $1200-$1400 may not be out of the question depending what is found during tear down

since you just want to drive the car and not be a wrenche turner on it, look at a composite Head Gasket, the OE mitsu or Fel-Pro would be good choices

oh nono dont get me wrong, i would love to change the head gasket if i had someone guiding me. ive done all my own turbo, fuel, suspection, you know the easy stuff, on my own, ive just never messed with taking the engine apart, and i feel like experience would be good to have when doing so.

well then if your game.. there are lots of good help her, but you already know that !

hit the Vfaq sections, on how to pull/install a head and how to do the time belt
