I was changing my oil and I was emptying the container of the old oil I found a gasket in the container and I wanted to know if the oil filter have a gasket, it was a big gasket.

heh leak is an understatment. After an oil change on a Prelude, someone left the old seal on, and when he started the car, oil just poured out like the filter wasn't even there.XMasta19 said:Yes you will get a new gasket, make sure to lube it with fresh oil when you install. Whenever you change your oil, always make sure that gasket comes off...many have been known to have oil leaks due to double stacking them together.
