Alright i just wanna know some numbers of oil pressure if anyone has ever checked them on their car. Id like to know the pressure from the head and pressure from the filter housing during idle and under acceleration.
I have a pte scm-6152e turbo and everyone says run it off the filter housing but use a restrictor because you get too much pressure especailly if your balance shafts are removed. A local guy told me i wont have any problems feeding it off the head because since i dont have balance shafts itll raise my stock oil pressure at the head and be enough to run my big 360 center section turbo.
If anyone has any oil pressure numbers to give me that woul dbe great. Id like to know the difference at the head and filter housing with and without balance shafts. Also how much of a difference will cams make on the amount of oil being flowed? I have some crower stage 2 cams which are about the same as hks 272's.
