hey i just bought a new t28killer and the mechanic gave me a steel braided oil feed line and on the way back home from his place (1.5hr drive) i realized that the line leaked from the top of the turbo so it wasnt getting any oil on the trip.. now the turbo is blown.. but what i am wondering is if there is any such thing as 'too long' of a feed line.. cause it seems like it would be hard for the oil to get up to it.. im hoping it was just because of the leak and not the oil line itself but i need some reassurance.. thanks for any help
btw the mechanic put on the turbo and the lines.. so hes going to rebuild for free :thumb:

I believe the standard length of most SS oil feed lines for our cars are around 2 feet. I doubt the length of your oil line was the problem. If you've ever seen how restrictive the stock oil lines for the turbo are, you'll agree.

ok cool thanks.. thats what i wanted to hear.. its just that when i get it rebuilt again i dont want the same problem to happen twice  .. any other people have any other opinions speak now or forever hold ur peace :shhh:
