Ok, well in the process of trying to "tighten'' my oil drain on my Evo316g, I ended up snapping both bolts off into the turbo. Don't ask.. So while it is at the maching shop, I am thinking of different ideas as far as that stubborn oil drain line. Now, I was thinking that I could purchase 2 of the oil drain fittings in the first link. One on the turbo, and one on the pan. Then buy a foot of SS hose in second link. Purchase 2 fittings -10an, third link, for the hose. One 45* and one straight. And attach it all together. Resulting in a easier oil drain pull. What do you guys think?

That's what im using for a drain line on my 16g. But I only used 4-5 inches of the stainless line. The only thing I would recommend is using 2 45* fittings. I got a 90* and a straight fitting and it works fine, but its just an abrupt turn into the oil pan, which I don't care for.

I know plenty of people that have those kits, and haven't heard much of a complaint. They're pretty simple kits, but they do the job. I'm ordering up one and a couple other little things for my new 1g, this coming week. I even know a fella that used one for his wifes Mazdaspeed3, they fit great.

Feel obligated to say that I am a MAP employee, but don't deal with sales, at all (Im one of the guys that sends out all the goodies :D ). Just my honest opinion on a good product, from a person who sees the stuff everyday :thumb:

Alrighty. I think that I will end up ordering the kit. Is there anywhere to order new bolt to the flange on the turbo that bolts to the manifold. I want some fresh ones because I broke one last time getting it out.
