Oil dipstick tube stuck

Are there any tricks to aid in removal of a 2g turbo motor oil dipstick tube? I can't get mine out, and I don't want to force it.

Provided you have the bolt out, just pull harder. The O ring has probably formed a deep molecular bond with the block by now.

I never could get it out. Tried PB blaster, tapped with a hammer, wrapped a piece of chain around it with a light weight hook and pried it. The friggin hook bent. So I just managed to work around it, and broke off the top of my dipstick in the process. Damn it!

Were you sure the bolts were removed from the tube?

I pulled on my dipstick to check the oil yesterday, and the damn handle came apart from the stick. $13.95 from Mitsu. Damnit.
