Well here's my story I just thought I would get some other opinions before i go through with any other actions just to make sure that I'm doing the right thing.
I have a 97 gsx eclipse that recently had a 6-bolt swap done. From the begininig. I was going to buy a jdm motor because my 7-bolt had spun a bearing at 165k. I bought the 6-bolt motor from a source that I was directed to By FIST. After purchasing the motor I was told that the crank needed to be machined and needed bearing gaskets and timing belt and to have a hole seald up where the balance shafts are so that oil would not leak out. So i get all of this stuff done. The people who built the motor took 4 months to do it and. So I get the car back in late december and the car runs a week or so to be exact 497 miles. Some of the problems that i had with the car after i got it back
1 it leaked coolant still working on this
2 it leaked gas I fixed
3 it overheated 3 times due to what ever reasons
4 some how the turbo came unbotled from the exhaust manifold. I don't know how also I'm now missing a bolt from there and before i had all four.
5 car breaks down and now doesn't work at all. have got to pull the motor
Anyway back to the story. I call the people who put the motor together and I am told that they will be here this weekend to have a look at the car and see whats going on.... Weekend comes no one shows up and recive no phone calls all weekend. So i get a call on monday. I am told "blah balh blah Will be there this weekend and get it fixed.... Weekend comes no one show and recive no phone calls and no calls all week. I have called this person and tried to get one of them to come over here to look at the car but it seems that there is always some excuse or they just don't anwser. So I ask for half of the money back to have it taken somewhere so i can get it fixed and they won't give it back. Not including the parts and motor and what not the labor was 1200 dollars. They got the motor in but now the car doesn't run. I've been told to take them to court if they don't anwser the calls or come and look at it and fix the car. What is your opinion?

. I'm wanting to get money back for the work they did because they won't even come and look and see what the problem is. Its been over 3 weeks now and I just don't have time to wait for them so i will go pay a shop somewhere else to fix what ever is wrong with the car. The two guys that worked on the car are individuals that said that they could do it because they have done this before on other cars. So at this point the car is dead
and i'm only asking for half of it back the motor is in the car i just want someone else to rebuild it. 600 for build and 570 for install
