I have leaky caps on my board. So, I got on TMOs site and read the procedure to change them. They even give the part numbers at www.digi-key.com to order. So, I ordered the exact part numbers they list on their site.

I got the caps yesterday and they don't look right. The capatance and volt numbers on the side of the caps match what they should be, but the physical size of all of them is too small.

The one that is supposed to be nearly as big around as a dime is only pencil eraser size. Whats up with this? Can someone put up the ratings of the three capacitors, that way I can match it to what the TMO site says (what I have).

Also, will these smaller capacitors be ok to use. They are the same ratings as whats required, but the size is concerning.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Solution
If the voltage and capacitance ratings are the same, then they are be okay to use. Look at the difference between surface mount and through hole.....quite a difference.

"Note that although the Physical definition for different types of capacitors will change depending on their structure and dimensions, however the Electrical definition C = Q/V holds for any capacitor type."
