An Odd Question

So I was thinkin after readin a thread from a guy hell bent on swapping an evo 8 engine in a 2g, The answer being no b/c the engine is mounted backwards? (right?) Well Im curious as to whether you can swap a VR-4 engine into a 2g or even a 1g for that matter. Is it a 6 or 7 bolt motor, and has there been any reported cases, to anyones knowledge, of a vR-4 suffering from the dreaded CW? Thnx in advance!

If so, yes you can swap engines in and out between:

Evo I-III
Galant VR-4 (RS)
Eclipse 90-99
Talon 90-98
Laser 90-92

They are all compatible with a slight change in a few details. There as WAAAAYYY WAAAAYYY too many threads on this. Search for 1gina2g (<---Just like I spelled it) and read on up.
