Alright guys, I need a new manifold and I came across the OBX header that's on Ebay and I'm looking for opinions. I can't seem to find any threads that deal with the Turbo headers so I'm going to ask. My take on so far is:

1. Stainless tubular header = better flow
2. Welds can crack
2a. These are lifetime guaranteed against defects from OBX (it includes welds)
3. I'm sick of manifolds that crack!

Can anyone add onto this?

What kind of turbo you running? FP has a nice exhaust manifold for a decent price you should check it out. for the OP havent tried that specific one.

That OBX is a gamble. My roomate and I had good luck using them on our cars in the past, but not everyone does. I've known just as many fail as last.

The perfect replacement: Forced Performance Turbochargers: FP DSM Race Manifold

1. It's affordable.
2. It will outperform that OBX manifold.
3. It will definitely outlast that OBX manifold.
4. It comes from a reputable company that you can actually call if you have an issue.

Ok, I have used a tubular manifold and I didn't mind it. The welds held up and the lag seemed less with it compared to the stock crap manifold. Now what I didn't like was the fact that it was a PITA putting on and was the same taking it off.

I have the FP manifold now and Haven't had a chance to run it but a mile but its a much better choice than that tubular manifold.

Too bad fp only makes their mani w/ a dsm turbine flange instead of opening up to the t3/t4 market.

Maybe they will here in the near future.
