I have a obx fuel rail for the 4g63 and i was wondering what would be the benefit performance wise to bolt this thing to my motor?

Unless your making huge power, nothing other then looking good. I don't know what the OBX rail is like, but I know some other aftermarket fuel rails are actually downgrades as far as performance vs our stockers.

I have an OBX rail in my garage. It shipped in as a freebie along with something my roommate bought for his car off eBay. I decided to try using it because it would visually better match my SMIM. I removed the flanged ends, machined 1/2" off each end to remove the pinholes, and had -6 bungs welded on. All in all, it was a nice looking piece when I was done. But it did not install nicely at all. The holes for the injectors were machined too small, so fitting the injectors took alot of work. And upon firing up the car, it leaked from two different spots. I also later noticed that the inside bore diameter is slightly smaller than that of the OE fuel rail.

Needless to say, I'm back to using my trusty OE rail and I don't see myself ever switching it out again.
