Does anybody have an obx exhaust system, and can you tell me if its got a loud deep tone. I know there are two types, which one would you prefer?I got a 96 automatic gs, so looking for the loudest exhaust out there, will take any other suggestions. Thanks

I have a buddy who had Tenabe Racing Medallion on his Turbo DSM and it was loud as hell. I can only imagine how loud it would be on a N/T car.

Don't forget the sounding nice part.....

if u want it loud, find a ghetto shop around you that will take off ur cat and get custom 2.5" from the manifold back and put an ebay $50 muffler on it. That'll be hella loud, prolly won't sound nice, but it'll be loud.

If their cat-back system is anything like their turbo manifolds, I would stay away from OBX. The welds are shit, rust easily, and there are much better systems to purchase.

I have OBX 4-1 headers and i love em i noticed the needle really gets goin after 3500 RPM's but the second thing i got of OBX was a "high flow catalytic converter" but when i took my car to the muffler shop to get 2.5' piping from the cat back and a muffler welded on i found out the cat wasn't street legal(the headers ARE though) but don't listen to everyone say don't get a $50 muffler...be cautious but i got one and i love the way it sounds it's a megan N1.

don't get me wrong, i've got a $50 muffler and it's great. It's on 2.5" custom cat-back. The part that would make it hella loud is taking the cat off, and it would also take away from the smoothness of the exhaust as it smooths out the engine pulses a bit.
