Hi guys,
anybody has these OBX cam gears in your cars? They are real bargain for 145$ for both gears in E-bay.Or maybe price is for one gear. There has been talk that these gears suck but no details why or how?
They are adjustable and looks fine, but for the price...there must be something...?!
( ebay item # 8053277805 )

I have to replace my timing belt so I'm getting rid of stock ones and putting more aggressive cams and new gears with them. Car is mostly in daily use so I think HKS 264 cams or similar would be my choice.
Hw these cams are for gas mileage? Any difference?

Allso interested of used cam for sale in NJ/NY area. (send a private message)

OBX isnt the best of brands. Im not going to knock em because i havent tried em but you get what you pay for in most cases. And as far as the gas mileage. Im pretty sure the cmas wont affect milage do to them not changing the fuel useage at all. All they do is prolong duration, thus making mor power due the valves being open longer sucking in more air aswell as pushing out more. :thumb:
