Hey when i bought my car the owner gave me an OBX boost gauge but not tubing or wiring to go with it i was wondering if it was worth the time to buy the tubing and wiring and hook it up, or if i should just buy an autometer

I have learned from experience it is always better to go with a proven brand you can trust and others have proved. Not to mention if you don't know the history behind the gauge, has it been used, dropped or abused?

No more than a gauge cost I'd buy a new one, not to mention you may want more gauges and this way they will all match and be a proven brand.

Just food for thought

Yea, try buying a whole new gauge that comes with everything, I mean sure you can save a few bucks just buying the tubing and the wiring, and the T fitting, but, let me tell you from experience the tubing is hard to find, I had to order my tubing online, because home depot and ace hardware didnt have the tubing.

Just buy some Prosport gauges, ( search on google) They are cheap, accurate, and have great customer service. They are also tinted too.

Does the gauge read vacuum? Is the needle sitting at 0 still? If so, then I would just go to Autozone or the like, get some vacuum line, and hook it up. As for wire, I just used speaker wire for it to light up.

agreed, CHUNK IT!!!:notgood:
