Ok here it is, i recently had to replace my O2 sensor after i installed my new exaust. However before i could get a new sensor and install it i had to drive around with an old one in the O2 sensor hole with the wires unpluged (long story). While i was doing this i noticed no difference in the way my car drove and my check engine light did not come on. I was wondering if anyone could explain this for me? When i installed the new on there was still no change in the way my car drove. It worked fine the whole time.

on a 1g if the 02's bad ive noticed the cel wont come on, you'll just run rich (black suet on the rear bumper over the muffler), but your right, i didnt notice a difference either
