Ok heres my dilema. I noticed last week my little bros o2sensor wanst cycling. So what i did was I changed the 02 sensor to a new mitsu one. Then i start the car after that, the o2 sensor started to go up got to like .3 and then started to go back down. It only moves every once in a while from like.02 to .07. Im not sure why. I have the a/f ratio gauge hooked up to the wire behind the blower in the passenger seat and the apexi tt hooked up to ecu.

Now the only thing that has been done lately was the apexi turbo timer install. I did that before this problem happened. But my wiring was good.

He also has a safc hooked up but again all the wiring is good. Any ideas?
thanks

have you tried looking at a differant guage ?

I mean swapping out the guage itself to see if its the issue.

Perhaps having three things attached to the O2 sensor output is too much. It's really only ment to drive the ECU. Since you have a link why do you need the others?

Also make sure you haven't messed up your settings, if your not in the ballpark the O2 won't cycle.

well the safc is zeroed out. As far as running both of these things of the ecu i will take the wire from the tt to the o2 sensor of the ecu harness and run it to a different place. Not sure if any of that will do it though. Also what was meant by the Link? If you are talking because i have dsmlink, i am talking about my little brothers 91 gst.

Thanks
Scott

While it is possible to get a dead O2 from Mitsu, your problem is probably tuning related. The 02 sensor won't cycle if the AF ratio is out of whack. Also, make sure you allow the sensor to heat up before you log it. Last, tapping into the wire, especially many times, will degrade the signal somewhat. Don't know if that is a problem, but it can't help.
