I was on eBay looking for a wide band o2 for my DSM and came across this page. This look too good to be true. A o2 plug extension adapter that get rid of check engine light? I think that will make the problem even worst. I saw these adapter look similar to this one in the auto parts store and it's known to use for spark plug. I bough one and cut the male end off and use the female end as a o2 sensor weld nut and weld it on to my custom down pipe. I never seen any thing like this. What do you guys think?

Yep, on cars with two O2 sensors the second sensor is after the cat. If you gut or remove the cat it will throw a code due to the cat 'not working'. The resistor changes the voltage output to fool the ecu.
