I am going with the tial 38mm wastegate on the o2 housing i was wondering if anyone has had problems with the wastegate hitting the fan shroud or anything else

I have a tial 40mm, and have PLENTY of room between the radiator and the wastegate. It should fit perfectly, and good job on deciding to go open wastegate.

can someone give me some info on what if anything willneed to be done to mount the 38mm wastegate to my o2

You will need to get a slim fan or run without a fan. Here is a picture of my o2 mounted wastegate.
