ok, i am either going buy an o2 dump(NOT ported) from punishment for around 180 or should i get a ported o2 housing w/ OUT dump, which would be better for me, cause in the next few weeks i will be getten a 3" Buschur exhaust w/ 3" DP and no cat and dont want creep, so which one is better for me? :dsm:
 
i did do aserch on creep thats why i am asking whats better dump not ported or o2 ported i cant afford an wastegate and i dont port
 
i think he means the novelty of having your car sound like a jet plane will soon wear off. but i guess it depends on the person :) .

as far as getting a ported 2g, it'll do. what I'd recommend is just getting a 3" recirculating o2 and call it a day. But what is also recommended is getting your hotside ported along with your mani.

with all 3 things ported you shouldn't have too much of a problem with creep, too bad i do :thumbdown

Ok so here we go.

Alot of people think a dump will cure all creep problems. It wont. You need to have a well ported exhaust housing and O2 housing to minimize creep. The main problem is the WG passage. If it is to small, like most Mitsu housings, it wont flow very well and will cause creep. If you have all the transition points ported and smoothed then it will help out. After that has been done then step up to a nice tubular O2 housing and you will have a super nice exhaust system. The only way to make sure you never get creep is with an external gate.

For now you can go with a ported 2G O2 housing and be fine.
