so i have a 98 spyder gs (4g64 engine code) manual trans. the car would not shift while the engine was running. so i changed the master and slave cylinder, didnt fix the prob. so i changed the clutch, pressure plate and throttle bearing and bleed it. and im still having the problem... simply if the car is off i can shift fine but if the car is running it will not shift out of neutral.

someone at the shop im working at said it probly needs bleed more. but i dunno since im not getting any air at all when i bleed it.

so im just posting to see if anyone else has had this problem or if this is an ongoing issue?

I'm having this problem with my car as well. I wish I could help you out with it. I would try vacuum bleeding it, and maybe changing the clutch fork and ball.
