Normal RPMs at highway speed?

I don't remember my last 2g running this high, but 3250 @ 70 in 5th? Sound about right?

Traffic running 70-75 most of the trip to work, I keep wanting to shift into 6th to cruise

That sounds about right. These cars cruise at pretty high rpm's on the highway.

Yeah thats normal. Shit if you think thats bad go for a ride in Civic or CRX with b16 trans they have super high RPM anywhere they go.

, nice. Don't get me wrong, I like having the ability to pass or whatever without downshifting, but I keep looking down to see if I am in the right gear.

Years of driving a quiet, newer GM pickup with AOD will do that to you I guess, big difference.

im at about 3000 at 70.

Yep, its pretty normal. I usually cruise on the highway around 3k. Give or take if the Dizzum wants to play or not. 2.5k-2.75 if I am driving normal.
