quick question about my rear shocks on my 91 gsx... the rubber bushings at the bottom of my shock, are they replaceable or do i have 2 replace the entire shock?? when i pulled mine off the shock came off but the bushing is seized on the back of the rear hub...

If you've never changed the shocks you should just change them while your at it they might be blown. The bushing in the shock comes with it . Its not supposed to come out BUT you can change them to stiffer ones. Someone might sell a kit and all you would have to do is press them in. Search for the kit. Hope this helped

Mine were seized when I replaced my shocks too. You will likely have to cut the rubber off and then carefully cut the sleeve off. I used a dremel with a cutting wheel and once you think you are through, hit the edge of the cut with a chisel. That usually does the trick. Good luck with that. My shock bolt broke off too and I had to take off the whole control arm to drill out the bolt.

looked on prothane, energy, and oem, no replacement bushings for 1gs... so imma cut the bushing off and toss a pair of KYB GR-2s on the rear for now... replace both now and front in about a month or so.... thanks guys
