noob at logging please help me!!!

I just got a palm with tunerstein software, I have no idea what Im doing I cant clear retrieve codes I cant log Im desprete for help . Im completly lost I got it to log once but I cant read what it saved...I remeber glancing over while nailing the gas and it went from low 20s timing to 10-11...Im no expert but thats not supposed to happen right? I need help before I loose it!

if you go from crusie to WOT your timming will get yanked back to single digits then slowly rise back up and approach the 20's ( with mostly stock set up and doing the pull in 3rd )

Ok thank you...Im trying to figure out why I am surging and Im mainly looking at ignition timing. I talked to my teacher about my logs and I started to remeber my driveability class, so stupid me for not knowing. Ill have to toy around a little more and figure out how to fully use it...as I just stumbled across how to clear codes.

no I havent...there were alot on the search engine and it was way too late for me to look but thank you.
