NOOB 2.3 stoker questions

i found and awesome deal on some stoker pistons for a 2.3 and stock lenght eagle rods and block for dirt cheap from my friend..he told me all i need to finish the 2.3 stoker is a sonata crank is this right?? i have a .40 over wisecos pistons, with stock 6bolt lenght rods, and 4g63 block bored.40 over.. so all i would need is the sonata crank and lap my head and be done with it?


what 6bolt cranks can i use and from what cars/years can i find it?

There are also 6 bolt 2.4 galant and expo engines. The 6 bolt 2.4's are referred to as the a g4cs

i rather find a oem 6bolt crank, but i guess if i cant find one ill just buy eagle crank
 
Don't forget to clearance the block and the main caps! Oh and the 8.8:1 stroker wisecos aren't made for the oil jets/squirters so you'll have to notch the skirts a tad bit if you want to run oil jets (recommend)

Or use evo oil squirters:thumb:, also I never had to clearence the main caps with my eagle wiesco combo. But then I assembled some that needed clearancing, weird. Maybe eagle changed their rod a little over the years. I bought my rods back in 2004.
 
I didn't have clearance issues with my 8.5 wiseco strokers. Just had to bend the nozzle.
