Non Turbo Alternator??

My buddy has a brand new alternator that was for his 1992 or 1993 non turbo 4g63 eagle talon before he sold it. I was wondering if I bought it if it would work on my 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST? Thanks Jesse

I don't think it will, the n/t puts out 65amps and the turbo puts out at 75amps also if you call or go to a parts store they have differant part numbers. Not sure why but I do know they are not the same b/c I replaced mine about 3 weeks ago and ran into the same thing.
