Noise Filter

I'm pretty sure I know what it looks like, all the picture links are dead for it on this forum.

Either its part of the coil pack bracket, or it's the shit mounted by the knock sensor under the intake manifold.

It's the little metal canister attached to the manifold behind the circled connector

Yup that's it, though it is real clean. It will most likely be much dirtier.

I have been looking for a picture of one of these!
Didn't want to start a thread about it though.

There are three on 1gs. The link that 1992awdlaser posted is correct. The plug is a tiny little connector with a single wire If what you have doesn't look like that then its something else. You should post a picture of what you have.
