Nobody Has This Sensor!!!!!

I posted a few days ago about a check engine problem, which you guys/gals helped me with, but now it still pops up with the same code. Its the CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. I called around auto parts stores but no one has them even listed. They tell me they have a crankshaft sensor, no camshaft sensor. Is this a dealer only part...Please help. I have a 1990 AWD Talon TSI

The Camshaft/Crankshaft Angle Sensors are one in the same in 1gs.
I believe what you are looking for is a CAS = Crank(shaft) Angle Sensor.
You can get one cheap from Diamond Star Motorsports

EDIT: There is a difference between 1990 and other years, so be sure and specify that it's a 90 ...

I have a CAS from a 90 dsm.
its been in the garage for years, If i can find it, you can have it for shipping.
not sure if it still works though.

Thanks for the info. I did some research and ordered one. It faulted again today under regular driving conditions, so hopefully I'll get it early this upcoming week
