no spark... not sure why

i have a 90 talon tsi fwd. i have had the car sitting for a year now taken apart, and finally got the new clutch and transmission in. after everything was put back together it wont start. i check the spark plugs and im getting no spark. it ran fine before, so what could this be? coil pack?

Sounds like something not connected, It's real easy after a build to miss one.

1. Check all your connectors again as well as ignition fuses one under the hood another in the fuse block under the dash
2. With the ignition check to see if you are getting 5v on two of the three leads that connect to the coil pack on the harness side.
3. Check for voltage on the harness side of your CAS

If your not geting power to the coil pack I would suspect something not connected if you are I would check the power transistor.

If your not getting power to the CAS I would suspect ECM.

With all that in mind those are some good palces to start looking, but it still sounds like something not connected to me.

ok problem as far as i know is solved! i changed out the cam angle sensor and now it starts. it starts rough but it starts! thanks for the info!
