I recently put an engine in a car i got from a guy, and he had a 2g engine setup with a 1g cas. I installed a 2g engine and returned the injector pins to normal, installed a crankangle sensor and a cam angle sensor behind the cam, and plugged into the harness as factory. I went to start the car and got no spark to any of the wires, the coil is getting power, and the code reader is giving me a p0335 crank angle sensor. Im just wondering if i missed something we taking it off the 1g cas. The timing is correct, and all sensors are new. Im thinking of using the adapter imtook off formthe 1g cas and turning it overmwith the 1g cas to see if i can get spark. Any input would be good.

Thank you

It's a pretty straight forward procedure, there's not much to miss...did you install the trigger plate correctly?? 6bolt trigger plate??

Could just be a bad crank sensor...

Either way, the 1g cas will get it firing again.

Make sure you dont have the crank sensor upside down. The flat part should be facing away from the engine.

Its a 7bolt and i installed the 7 bolt trigger plate and timed it to tdc

I installed the sensor with the pick up facing the trigger plate?
