no rolling no spacers?

so ive been searching on here trying to see the widest tire i can go with out making any other modifications. i decided im going to end up going with a 235 on a 17" wheel. need to know what sidewall to be looking for and most importantly what offset should i get on a 17 x 7.5? i do not want to roll the fenders as the paint on my car is 2 weeks old, and i dont want to mess with a structural point on the car, and id like to try to avoid running spacers if possible. also anyone else believe 235's are going to be too wide for a 7" wide wheel....cornering is just as important as straight line to me so i dont want the rim sliding between the tire at high cornering speeds. if not correct offset on the 7" wheel with 235's as well. thanks in advance.

Either way, you will need at least 7.5 inch wheels to get a benefit from 235 series tires. At least 8 if you are serious about handling.

i run a 235 40 17's im not usre of the rums offset though.. they fit well w/ the prokit i have on there so im not complaining

+40mm is about perfect. 235/45/17 if you have the room, 235/40/17 if you don't.

sorry wret forgot to say that i am lowered about 1.5" via tein super streets...which gives me adjustablilty....so 235/45-40/17's on a 7.5 with a +40mm offset and i should be good? awesame thanks for the help.
