No Power to my car

I just traded my 98 Integra shell for a 95 eclipse Gs today. The guy said all it needed was a fuel pump and to charge the battery. I charged the battery today while i was at work and when I got home i put a new fuel pump in. I hooked up the battery and went to turn it over and a fuse pooped. I put in a new fuse and now I have no power at all. The battery is still charged I tested it.
What could be the problem?
The fuse that blew was the Engine fuse. I hooked the battery up correctly.

Make sure all grounds are good.

Sounds like you've got a short, or a bad electrical component.

Main relay fried now.

Don't put the battery back in at all...

Check all grounds,
Check for an short some where or else you'll blow more than just fuses
Check if the ECU is fried?
Check all fuses ...

Last but not least...
The battery, some may easily say it's charged but won't hold it for long and it will die out, if you can take it to get tested the batter could be bad..

So I need to take the ecu apart to see if its fried correct?

Yea, you can tell on some ECUs right off the crap, some may have cracks and acid.

I had a GST with a fried ECU and I only confirmed it with tryin to check the codes and the scanned wouldn't connect right , they told me it could be that the ECU could possibly be fried if it had a CEL an couldn't read the codes I didn't hesitate to buy a new one and it fixed my problem.

Say the ecu is fried got a good place to get one besides eBay?

I checked some of the wires before I came to work, there is alot of bare wires by the radio harness would that cause it to short out? Also there are about 3 wires running to the fuse box.

I checked my alternator and it was drenched in oil. Come to find out the intake side cam shaft seal was bad. Causing it to leak on my alternator.
