I'm no smoker but there's a lot of useful things you can still put in there. I checked underneath and there are no wires running to the socket. My question is where should this be wired into is there a harness nearby or the fuse box(which line on the box)? And does anyone know if the cig lighter is a switched power source as in does it turn off with the ignition?

It is switched thats cool I have noticed most cars aren't. All I have is the bare connectors on the bottom of the socket so I would need to run new wires and I have no idea where to send them to.

there should be a little harness that connects power to the cig lighter also (not a nessecity*) there should be a little light bulb that screws in so the rims lights up!

*I cant spell
