 You're not making much sense here talonsdad.WTF Do you have a good battery hooked up now and it is still exhibiting these problems? You need to try to be more specific if at all possible.

it almost sounds like its not properly grounded. If the car isn't grounded it can drain even a new battery dead in seconds.

Need more information from you...

-Why did you hook up the dead battery (were you replacing a battery?)
-If you were replacing the old battery, was it dead too?
-Maybe look into alternator if old battery was dead?

^^^^^Check this! A friend of mine just went through a problem with his Nissan pickup where the battery kept going dead, so he replaced the battery. When the new battery died immediately, he decided to replace the alternator. Battery still kept going dead, and his starter solenoid sounded like it wasn't engaging, so he bought a new starter. No luck at all with any of this (and now a couple hundred bucks into his repairs), he finally got fed up and took it to a Nissan Dealership. Long story short, it turned out that his negative battery cable needed replaced...cost him another $120 to get that done (guess that Nissan has the negative cable running into a junction box and then somewhere else...ended up being a two part cable for them to replace...ugghhh).

Feed us some more information though, your post was a bit too vague...the more you tell us the better advice we can give.

no i had put the battery outof my daily driver in my eclipse so i can charge the battery from the eclipse and didnt know the eclipse's battery was shot. now theres no power to the fuel pump, ignition modgel, and low beams

Have the negative battery cable checked on the Eclipse. A faulty/intermittent ground can cause all sorts of strange things to happen. Also, I'd have the battery tested (most repair shops can check this for you, I also think Autozone, NAPA, and Advanced can check a battery for free too?), could be some dead cells in the battery, causing it to function at less than 100%. While the battery may seem fine in your other car, it still may only be running at 80% efficiency or so (the percentage may be a different number than 80, I just used that as an example), which may be fine on your other car, but could be causing a problem on your Eclipse.

If the negative battery cable is bad on the Eclipse, it can put a huge strain on your alternator, ultimately causing the alternator to go. I'm pretty sure you can get the negative battery cable replaced at a repair shop for around $120.00.

Let me know if this helps.
