If he's got the mbc turned up crazy trying to run 20 psi with the little 450's and a non rewired pump its probably possible...another question is he.positive its not a 14g?

Just got the built short block in, waiting on a few things for the transmission, then she's back on the road. Might be nice to get a modest meet set up for the middle of Feb. The weather is kinda up and down, so let's try and link up on a weekend just to say what's up.

Checking in from westland area. i have a 98' fwd auto Talon TSI. I love the power this thing has and want more. It has a 3" exhaust on it with a cold air and a MBC plus a 190lph walbro. stock everything else until i solve this fuel cut problem.

Nick from Adrian area here! Quite a drive away from most of you but after I get some maintenance things fixed on my 1g (c'mon taxes and warmer weather!) I'd be down to meet up once or twice. Especially for a Milan meet since that is getting closer to my neck of the woods. I also know a few other dsm'ers from here that might be down as well.

i plan on getting out to.Milan once a month. Ild like to get a dyno day setup at speed industry in troy and work out a caravan for the shootout. Also someone's putting together a meet at AMC 30 for.the f&f6 midnight showing, in May. Last year 100 people came out.

I am leaning towards a boost leak problem. The boost controller is set for 14-15psi(4 clicks from all the way out). With the wastegate connected to the pressure port on the turbo only my car see's 11-12psi and no fuel cut. But it does'nt seem to have the power its should at stock boost and its pig rich. So i bought a boost leak tester and will check that before i do anything else.

It could be but I doubt it. Fuel cut happens when the ECU is seeing more air than it is programmed to and cuts the signal to the injector sequence to keep your engine from leaning out and destroying itself, you know when you hit fuel cut, feels like hitting a brick wall. The question is with the MBC did he adjust boost level with out a tuning method, if so could be knocking.

Northern michigan* theres a couple up here. I have a tastefully modded 93 tsi awd. My name is justin and im from west branch area. Since this winter had my baby down I went with a huge turbo setup, fmic, lowered >. < , external wastegate and a full 3" exhaust and also tuning. Purchased megasquirt over the winter. Have it all soldered and a custom wiring harness for direct plug and play function in my 1g. also jave a nice size garage that I do a lot of work in.

I'm in the KZOO area. We need to have a meet. Also, Kalamazoo has CARS and Coffee Last Saturday of the Month during late spring/Summer months at the Panera Bread on West Main St.

Whats up guys. josh here from just under the bridge. just got my first dsm before winter and have been at it all winter.

got a 96 gst for 600 bucks. in great shape should have payed way more but got really lucky. stock turbo was out. bad seals, rediculous play. like worst iv seen. wanted to punch the kid in the face when i found out he was driving around on it. but the turbo has been replacedn and the car runs nice.

been doing some collecting of parts to get this car cleaned up. got ahold of a 2gb front bumper from a buddy of mine ### its just really way better. only body parts i need now are side skirts. one side is missing on my car and figure i should just get a 2gb set. (if ya got a set laying around pm me)

so thats a little history of my first dsm so far. looking forward to get my eclipse on the road when the snow melts and meet some more dsmers and and ready to learn much more.

Im in Kzoo now and have seen 2 DSMs.. One is some ricey white 2g and there was a 1g with a front mount. I need to get mine out here soon.
