So I just finished breaking in my motor and I went to turn up the boost tonight and get a log of a pull to use as a basis to tune. I had bypassed my boost controller to stay at stock boost during break in so I connected it up and went out for a run. I did a 5th gear pull and boost jumped up to 25 PSI.. it turned out my boost controller is broken. But anyways, when I hit close to 25 PSI the car started to buck and I quickly let off the throttle. I think a big issue is my AFRs according to my AEM wideband were 10.0:1 which basically means it could be anywhere from 10.0:1 and down... so I know for a fact I'm running really rich. The other thing I find really bizarre is my knock count. The knock count didn't fluctuate at all, wouldn't you expect the slightest bit of knock at 25PSI on 93 octane? Is it perhaps the fact that I'm running so rich that I'm not seeing any knock? Is there a way to test the knock sensor? It doesn't have a lot of miles on it but it did sit for a couple months before the new engine was done and it's not leaking out the back. Here's a log of the pull, any analysis would be greatly appreciated.
