No fuel or spark

Engine turning over but no fuel or spark, we are getting 12v at the fuel pump connector but its not turning. replacing fuel pump and the coil pack seems to be fine from checking the resistance. wondering if power transistor unit can keep it from firing completely or if not where do i go from here

Definitely would check the cas. The car won't start with a bad one.

Hey xSHAGGYx since you have a 1g I would pick up a new ecu. They go bad all the time in 1g's and would cause the issue you are having. Just throwing my 2 cents in.

You should still be getting fuel if your CAS is bad, check the fuel pump relay. if this is bad or not plugged in your fuel pump wont send fuel. and i'm pretty sure our ecu's tell the car not to spark if there's no fuel there.

Check this out. Everytime i get these issues with my dsms, i follow it step by step and will get me to an end point.
Make sure you check your ecu harness, if any were cut off. My car didnt start due to 1 wire was accidently cut off. Hope this helps

Op: definitely check out that thread. It is very useful and is a very well put together in depth thread.

So from my understanding, your getting no fuel and are getting spark? Or no fuel and no spark?

How do you know your not getting fuel? Are you checking fuel pressure?

Are you getting check engine lights?

95DsManiac: haha usually I save these kind of threads on my phone. You never know when you will fall into these cases. Good luck on your hx40, very good turbo. Ran it for a year and loved it .

OP: best of luck, hopefully you found it or will find it soon, make sure you double and triple check what changed or hooked up. Keep us updated. Your problem can help others.

I checked it out and the capacitors on the board board have leaked out so I will be getting a new one. thx for the advice

I've honestly been having the same problem for a good while now. Although I don't get to work on the car all the time I have been going through everything and even sent my ECU back to ECMLink to have it checked and it was fine. Well I just swapped out the wiring harness but still gotta fine time to finishing hooking everything up and getting everything ready to try and start again. My old harness was so hacked up from previous owner so that's where I'm at now. Hopefully this new harness will fix it. Only time will tell.
