no eclipes's in canada?

yup, they never did as far as i know. but you can always import one, or buy a used one that is already imported.
its going to cost you through the roof thogh.
the 2000+ bastardized version is sold in canada though.

You do know that Mitsubishi Motors has only been in Canada for the last two years right? If there was never any Mitsu dealers in Canada before 2002, then who would be "they" in your question?

Eagle Talons were available from 1989 - 1998 in Canada which is mechanically the same car. If you want a 1G or 2G Eclipse you have to either import one or buy one from someone or business that imports cars.

Yes. Candian DSM's would be the Eagle Talon. Did you guys get Plymouth Lasers too?

Canadians got the Lasers and Talons. If your going to buy an Eclipse, buy it out of the States, with all the charges of bringing it to Canada, it would still be cheaper than buying from a Canadian who ones one. The price would be much higher because of the simple fact that they were never sold in Canada. Or just buy a Talon and convert it if you realy want an Eclipse.

Im not a fan of dodge, so i think il get the 91 m5. I could allways sell it when i get my dads life insurance and get my eclipse.

It is not a DODGE. It is a diamler-chrysler and mitsubishi combined project. The engine is mitsu along with many other things. The rs/gs and the esi are dodge engines. Go ahead with that 91 m5, but don't cast of a DSM as some other DODGE product. I would say the same for there cars, all except one lineup. *cough*SRT*cough*

My personaal opinion a 97/98 tsi are tons better looking than eclipses but 95/96 all you need to do is get the 97/98 spoiler and bumpers and side skirts don't go eclipse there are to f#%king many!!! Talon all the way!!

I know that the talon is the same as a eclipse but it looks difrent, i just dont like dodge. That 91 m5 needs about 2 grand of work so im gonna steer away from that. Im gonna keep looking for a gsx, Might even get the urban garage in van to import a gsx for me. AWD gray bird, i have only seen 2 eclipse's in Vancover and they were bolth brought over from the states as right offs and fixed. Many more talons in Canada than eclipse's.

To the reply for no eclipses in canada, I thought of the same. If you dont want to import one go to edmonton alberta. Southside mitsubishi was importing about 3 eclipses per week and if you want to save shipping charges go to edmonton alberta and grag one and drive it werever you live. Last month they had 2 99 turbos and 1 97 gs so there's alot to choose from.

18gs for an n/t!? I imported my 95 RS (76k miles) for like 7500 bucks and that includes shipping. It was 900 for the import fees. I've spent about 9000 bucks in total to date now because of all the repairs and shit though but its turning around turbo is on its way!

check out Canadatrader.com, they have lots of 2g Eclipses in the Lower Mainland/Vancouver area I believe. If you live in Kelowna, you are going to have to come down to Vancouver to find a better selection.

You could always buy a talon and rebadge it. Might cost a little but cheaper than importing if your thrifty.
