hi
ive been working on onthe car lately because a while back the clutch went out, it stopped disengaging whatso ever and was making lose change sounds. The change sound was because the stock disk broke into a few pieces, springs and such but im not sure why i dont have any pedal pressure. Im thinking master or slave right?? what happens is the pedal has no pressure what so ever and itll stay on the floor unless i pull it back up and the slave dosnt move the clutch fork at all. Before i parked the car to work on it my master had a leak inside the car and gears were somewhat crunchy at times untill it stopped disengaging all together so i had to park it to work on it. master? slave?? or both?? also at the time i parked the car i did take note that the slave was moving with the fork and seemed to have full range of motion and all that but still wasnt disengaging the clutch now a couple months of sitting and the slave isnt moving at all, reasons??

First of all, you saw your clutch master cylinder leaking so replace that first. If it leaks, it needs replacement. After sitting for so long, you must have air in your line due to the leak causing you not to be able to engage properly. The slave cylinder would be the next thing to check for leak also. If there is a leak there, replace it. That's the cheapest way to go than a new tranny. After replacing the clutch master cylinder replacement, make sure you bleed the clutch line fully to allow for all the air to go out.

After you have done all that, the problem should go away. If the clutch pedal is still stuck on the ground where you have to keep pulling it up, it may be your clutch pedal assembly.

Replace the master cylinder and bleed the clutch line like blktalon93 said and see how it is after that. If you still have problems read this page from RRE. Your clutch pedal assembly should be fine since you have a 2G instead of a 1G. When you replace your master cylinder it wouldn't be a bad idea to just replace the slave cylinder while your at it, even if the slave cylinder is still fine.
