First off I am a newbie to DSMs. I just bought the car last week and I have been trying to fix some of the problems with the car.

Problem:
My aftermarket boost gauge reads the engine vacuum flawlessly. When i rev the engine up to 6k the vacuum reduces but the gauge does not read any boost. I hear the BOV release air back into the air intake so there has to be some pressure. The real kicker is sometimes the boost gauge registers the engine boost. THe boost gauge reads 22 psi at 6.5k rpm.

My Car:
I have a 92 Eagle Talon TSI. My car has a full 3 inch exhaust; 2.25 inch upper and lower intercooler pipes; 2G MAS on a 3 inch air intake pipe; 14b turbo;walbro 255 lb/hr fuel pump; No Boost controller; Stock O2; 2g exhaust manifold missing some bolts; S-AFC; Pocketlogger; boost gauge.

Conditions:
RPM: 750-1000
Air temp: 47 Degrees
Aif FLow: 31-50 HZ
Knock: 0
O2: .06v -.92v
Timing: around 15 degrees
Coolant temp: 155 degrees
ISC: 42 steps
O2 trim: around 100% going above and below
Low fuel Trim: 139%

What should I chekc so I can isolate and fix the problem? Thank you for any advice.

You cannot create boost pressure at idle, there is nothing wrong with your car. Don't free rev trying to create boost.
