So when building the bottom end and having turbo but wanting the possibility for nitrous has anyone switched to the 10.5.1 compression pistons or do you normally stick with 8.1.1 im looking into it and wanted to see opinions!

Depends what turbo. If you get a large turbo i would go with spray. If not theres really no need for spray. But if i was you i would go with 8-9:1 compression and use the spray to make a larger turbo spool faster.

yes i agree with this partually but what happens if you get the large frame turbo and use spray to spool and get used to that and now you dont have any spray left and cant get any for a while for whatever reason and now you have lower compression and a huge turbo which = more time out of boost = slower car from the line you tell me but if i were you i would look into the physics of you motor and find out which turbo matches that and stick with that you should get better results and you dont have to refill or depend on spray but thats just me its all up to you in the end. to each their own and what ever you do have fun with it :hellyeah:

I would run high compression. I had 8.8 for a little while with a s16g and the off boost throttle response sucked. I spun a rod bearing and decided to upgrade to 10.5 comp and a s20g and I like the driving alot more. You will be more limited on how much boost you run by pump gas vs race gas with high compression but imo its worth the trade off.

im probably gonna run a t3/t4 for now, so i was gonna go with the 8.8.1 but then i was thinkking if i had ever put nitrous like 75-100 shot, should i go with the 10.5.1 or just stay 8.8.1
