I have tried searching on this and only found information on people wondering if a Nissan T28 will fit on a DSM, which it obviously will not. My question is, could the center cartridge fit into the T25 from a stock 2G? I know all of the "cheap solutions" have been researched and more people would probably do it with the availability of T28's from Nissan's floating around like 14b's in the DSM world. This would probably take some porting of the compressor and turbine housing, but would it require anything else?
I understand this is probably not the same as a Big T28, but can't find information on the different sizes of T28's. The VFAQ only has the "standard" T28 sizes and no information on the Big T28 and, searching Nissan forums, I can't find information on the Nissan T28. If anyone could answer my question, it would be of a great help. Once I replace the T25, I wouldn't mind experimenting with this, but figured some one else out there has HAD to have tried this by now. Any help on this or the actual differences in sizes of T28's and what exact compressor/turbine wheels the different combinations of T28 and T25 use would be helpful, Garrett only has their new stuff listed on the website.
