Nickel Plating

I got my exhaust mainfold from fastfabrications, and I thought it would be nickel plated but instead just painted silwer. I tried to polish it but gave up its just to hard. So I want to get it nickel plated. Questions would nickel be able to withstand the heat and does anybody know what it would cost? Thanks

It'll turn brown on you.

Try powder coating it chrome, or whatever color.

jet-hot coating doesn't turn. It's just really bright silver though. Looks good.

what is jet-hot coating how would I ask for it and what sort of place would do that? Do you know around about what about it cost? Thanks again!!

edit: I just did a google search and found there web site- would the sterling coat be enough? I asked them for an estimate will let you guys know.
