okay guys,
I have searched this several times and have read "dont go over 16 lbs on stock fuel", but what i am looking for is what boost is okay to run on stock injectors with an upgraded pump. I understand that elevation, temp, fuel quality, etc. etc. will come into play, but if anyone can help me, please post it here.
It is a 90 block .040 over with topline ceramic coated 2nd gen style pistons and a fresh rebuild clearances between 1.5 and 2 thousands on rods and mains.
Mods-28x12x3 XSpower FMIC. Supra MKIV pump, all aluminum intercooler piping, MAF-T and palm datalogger, tial BOV, cone filter intake. autometer boost guage, and 3" straight pipe from the turbo back. also, it has a 6 puck clutch, and all aluminum radiator, and upgraded E-Fans. my buddy has a wideband that i am going to install in order to aid in tuning the car.
what do you think i could run out of the stock turbo with this setup and some time in tuning (at home)
Thanks,
MArk

The stock injectors are still going to limit you regardless of the pump. The upgraded FP will help keep the fuel pressure up into the higher revs, but that doesn't make the injectors flow more fuel at lower rpm when the turbo is flowing more air per rev. Who knows what boost you can push safely, but 16psi probably isn't a bad guess.

You said you have a logger, i would use your logger as a good place to check. You can monitor your idc, and your knock. This will give you a good idea of how much boost is safe for you to run.

Ive heard of people on here running 20+psi on stock injectors with upgraded fuel pump and pressure regulator. Why risk blowing you motor though? Get some new injectors.
