So I got my ForcedPerformance FP rewire kit. I guess the rely and everything is up front and just a power wire is ran to the back.

The kit didn't come with anything to connect to the pump. Do I have to splice into the factory harness? I'd hate to 1st cut it up, so I might get a connector at the junk yard, and 2nd, isn't that like bottle necking down from 18 gauge to 10 guage or so? Thanks.

Solder your connections, resistance is based on not only wire size but length as well. The small section of stock wiring leftover will not be enough to make a difference there. The biggest gain in the rewire is getting power straight from the fuse block, it's consistent and doesn't go through other devices before going to the pump. You will notice a change, and if you're on a Whineboro 255 it will get louder. :thumb:
