newbie questions

hi, im a newbie to the DSM community and although i do not have a DSM i am planning on getting one early next year. anywho, i have been researching mods and tune up stuff, problems and solutions on this site now for quite a while and i need some of my own questions answered now.

first off, i was wondering what size are the stock injectors because if i dont need bigger ones with fuel pump/pressure upgrades, then i do not see any point in wasting money

second, for my last mod, i was considering doing a FMIC and though they are moderately expensive, my thoughts for money's sake was just to buy a Galant VR4 IC/piping along with an intake system because the intake like curves all weird as opposed to the 2g

lastly, i was concerned with the fuel pump. on the tech guide it says i should upgrade the fuel pump. i have researched it and the stock fuel pump flows 100lph @ 43 psi. wouldnt this be enough... also, why get a fuel pump that flows more if the fuel pressure remains at stock levels? speaking of stock levels, like 2 lines above, i wrote the fuel pump flows @ 43 psi... now is this just the fuel pressure at the pump, or is that the pressure all throughout the fuel system?

I can tell you that the GVR4 stock front mount IC is the most worthless IC you will ever see. Check Ebay for some cheap front mounts, you may have to do your own piping, so you can be creative and save some money.

yea, thats what i was thinking... those like front mounts that dont even have a brand. those are like $160. however, on these vary forums it says sometimes buying cheaper stuff can haunt you later on because it breaks. sure a GReddy fmic can run someone like $1200 but at least you have some sort of guarantee that it'll be satisfactory. are the cheap ones good enough or should i go with a midrange one thats like $500 ?

stock injectors are 450's
as for the pump -
you could try to use your logic for a turbo. why bother getting a 20g and boosting 15psi
when your stock 14b is allready at 15psi.
get it ? your flowing more @ the same pressure.
