Newbie question need help things are really heating up!

Not much time to spare i have quite the dilemna there my car is currently on fire there is a mixture of oil/fuel burning i have thrown water on it and this seems to be simply spreading... i tried smothering with newspaper still no dice! need help quickly before i simply have a salvador dali issue DSM!

Always have a Class 3 extinguisher around you. That should be the only kind anyone has in their house. It will put out chemical, grease and standard fires.

Besides I hope this was a joke as everyone should know that oil FLOATS on water so of course it will spread. That's why when restaurants have fires in the kitchen they are usually put out with baking soda or some other powder to smother the flame. Not to mention, why would you log in and make a new thread WHILE your car is on FIRE?!
